Technical Theater

Taylor began her tech journey at the beginning of her freshmen year at UM. She had always had a love for painting so she was initially drawn in for that reason, but before she knew it she would fall in love in exploring a whole other side of theatre. While she started as a painter- when she became a regular in her school’s shop- she had begun building sets, lighting them, designing/ assistant designing hair and makeup for the shows and eventually even graphic designing. While her primary job is as a performer, she’ll always want to play a part in the creation side of theatre as well- as she believes being a part of art in a holistic sense can only benefit her.
