Taylor Rand
About Me
Taylor Rand is performer from Frederick, MD. She is part of the University of Miami’s Musical Theatre Class of 2025. She began her career in the arts at the age of nine, and she’s very grateful for all the opportunities she has received.
Growing up in the DMV area and having a determination to get out in the field helped Taylor to work at various theatre spaces including The Kennedy Center among others. This also allowed her to preform with various companies including the Washington National Opera, and Center Stage Academy for the arts etc.
Taylor began her journey with the University of Miami in the fall of 2021. In addition to being in seven shows during her time there, she had a hand in the production of all but one of the shows since her first semester at the school, in some way shape or form. Some of her credits include: Mopsa (Head over Heels), #46 (The Wolves), Angelica (The Rover), and Aswang (The Passport Project). Her last production at the University was a collection of new works where she was cast as Charlotte in a piece based of the novel The Yellow Wallpaper.
In addition to singing, dancing, and acting she is a visual artist (mediums include: Acrylic, Digital Art & Makeup) graphic designer and theatre technician.
